Who We Are

Art Hoffart, President. Art started his insurance career 1981. He was inspired to become an insurance agent because of his desire to help others. Art moved to Bozeman, Montana in 1989 and began working with the Bissell Insurance Agency in 1993. Since assuming control of the Bissell Agency in 1997, Art has received top awards on an annual basis from both the state and national insurance carriers based on customer service and sales. Three awards were on a national basis of over 500 agents.

In addition to Art there are four well informed staff members that are willing to assist clients with their insurance needs:

Leslie Toenyes is also a licensed agent with our agency. Leslie primarily works with our personal lines. This includes homeowner, farm/ranch, auto, and recreational vehicle insurance.

It is the goal of our agency to provide exceptional customer service to clients at all times. This is achieved by continuously looking for opportunities to better serve our clients by monitoring their coverage, premiums and insurance needs.

Our staff is willing to meet clients at a time and place most convenient for them. We strive to offer the most competitive prices possible for clients while providing the coverage requested.

Our office is located next door to Casey’s Corner gas station on Valley Commons Drive, Unit A. It is approximately 1.5 miles west of the Gallatin Valley Mall in Bozeman, MT.

Our agency offers weekly service in West Yellowstone, White Sulphur Springs and surrounding areas in Montana (Belgrade, Livingston, White Sulphur, West Yellowstone, Manhattan, Three Forks, Big Timber, Columbus).
